The First Aid at Work course lasts for 18 hours, taught over 3 days. This course is designed for people who need a greater understanding and knowledge of first aid and staff who work in a hazardous environment such as a factory, construction site or warehouse.

This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment.

The course covers a wide variety of first aid topics including CPR, using a defibrillator, recovery position, choking, wounds and bleeding, shock, poisoning, spinal injuries, fractures, heart conditions, electrocution and head injuries.

This course contains many opportunities over the 3 days to practice doing the practical elements so candidates leave feeling confident they could use their skills in an emergency.
